The idea of insurance - back to basics

I am licensed to sell insurance in the State of Texas since 2002. Many of my colleagues in the insurance business will strongly disagree with me. Frankly, I do not really care.

A word about "fairness"

Everybody complains that taxes are unfair and offers a quick fix. If there indeed was a simple solution, it would've been implemented by now.

No, I did not lose my mind! I do believe that taxes are much simpler than we think. It's just that nobody explains them well enough.

Trash that magazine!

During the tax season, every consumer magazine publishes articles like "25 ways to cut your taxes." Are they worth reading?

To cheat or not to cheat?

Your co-workers cheat. So do your neighbors and friends. Even celebrities cheat! Should you? How are they going to ever catch you?
